Paving operations for a new distribution warehouse that was constructed for Amazon in Salem, OR. The paving area was just over 1 million square feet (23.1 acres). The paving operations included a variety of applications, which included semi-trailer parking areas, access roadways and large parking areas. The weather was unseasonably warmer than normal, which allowed us to place over 9000 tons in the month of January. The remainder, 17800 tons, was placed during March to May.
This was a great project for both the construction side and the materials side of the company. We performed exceptionally and satisfied the needs of the Prime Contractor and Owner.
